Even the Tree Sheds Its Skin is a collage print with images of metamorphosis in fern green, cream beige, soil brown, rose red, and off-white. The front features a cross stitch butterfly image pattern with moths on the brim. The back features the same moths, but with the butterfly drawing on top. The brim, when turned upright, shows the moths upright. The top panel is a moth.
